"Knowledge itself is power"
Francis Bacon
Rationale:-General Knowledge is the amalgamation of knowledge of
all the subjects. It contributes to personal enrichment, and a better understanding
of the world (and the universe). If you have no general knowledge, you are narrowing
down your future possibilities, because you just never know what the future may
require of you.
Our school has always paid attention to promote general knowledge amongst our students
and develop interest in general knowledge amongst our students. For every unit exam
we add five bonus GK questions which initiates their interest in the subject .We
regularly participate in interschool quiz events.
GK club is an attempt to relate classroom learning with a child's life outside,
arouse curiosity and interest in a child towards daily events, control fading away
of basic concepts of various school subjects learnt by him during his school life.
