Rationale:-General Knowledge is the amalgamation of knowledge of all the subjects. It contributes to personal enrichment, and a better understanding of the world (and the universe). If you have no general knowledge, you are narrowing down your future possibilities, because you just never know what the future may require of you.
Our school has always paid attention to promote general knowledge amongst our students and develop interest in general knowledge amongst our students. For every unit exam we add five bonus GK questions which initiates their interest in the subject .We regularly participate in interschool quiz events.
GK club is an attempt to relate classroom learning with a child's life outside, arouse curiosity and interest in a child towards daily events, control fading away of basic concepts of various school subjects learnt by him during his school life.

Participations and achievements:-

• ZONAL ROUND WINNERS OF:-
  a. CBSE Heritage India Quiz 2011 (School team - Samyak Chaudhary, Anmol Singh, Shobhit Jain).
  b. CBSE Heritage India Quiz 2010 (School team - Vishal Biswas, Samyak Chaudhary, Neerav Singhal).
  c. CBSE Heritage India Quiz 2009 (School team - Neerav Singhal, Samyak Chaudhari, Sonu Bhandari).
• Our school was selected as the venue to host the zonal rounds of CBSE Heritage India Quiz in 2010 and 2011 and we effectively held the Zonals at our school premises thereby gaining more experience and gathering more expertise for our students.
• HT PACE Interschool Quiz, TOI Interschool Quiz and Quizitalia Our school regularly participates in these prestigious quiz events.
• DAV Youth festival quiz 2011 - Our school team participated in the event and won third prize.
